90 points Wine Enthusiast - Though more elegant and less rich than the winery's 2016, this value bottle is just as well-made and appealing. Sweet berry fruits, a mix of strawberry and raspberry, come with a bit of red cherry also. The tannins are gentle and smooth, the finish clean and long. The oak was 10% American, the rest French
Our blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre leads with Grenache – making this wine fruit-forward and soft on the palate. The Syrah brings in layers of darker fruit and adds spicy notes. The Mourvèdre gives it that gorgeous color and lends some earthiness to the wine. A wonderfully well-balanced wine. GSM pairs well with many foods and would be particularly great with rosemary and sage porkchops or just a simple dish of olives and feta!
